Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.

The chemical dependency intensive outpatient program is designed to help you develop a personal program of recovery from alcohol and/or other drug dependence. During your treatment at CD IOP, you will establish goals for yourself and work with your counselor toward achievement of those goals. During your treatment, you will be given an opportunity to explore changes you may wish to make in your life such as total abstinence, preventing relapse from alcohol and/or other drugs.

The hospital provides an intensive outpatient program, which is a medically supervised comprehensive Bio-Psycho-Social model of recovery, relapse prevention and the mindfulness based CBT training (learning to separate thought from emotion in the moment of distress). This clinical approach helps you return to your normal life activities as soon as possible post discharged, and provides the structure and support needed to maintain your Restoration “definition is restoring to an improved condition”

Upon completion of the maintenance treatment program, continuing care is a vital part of promoting ongoing recovery. The client should follow the continuing care plan with the same diligence as the counseling portion of the treatment plan. Years of experience has shown that follow-up contacts with the staff, the recovery community meetings and the development of personal spiritual principals will help insure a successful transition from treatment to private life.
